Punch and Judy by Alternative is a flick screen adventure starring the seaside puppet show characters. I will admit that when I loaded this one up I didn't have much hope for it having seen the screenshots. To my surprise, it wasn't that bad a game...

The aim of the game is to guide Punch around the town finding pieces of the puppet show tent. Once all pieces are returned and assembled at the beach, he must round up all the characters for the show. Finally he has to put on a successful show to win the game. The game play is simple and fun once you know your way around and what to do. You need to avoid the policeman and the crocodile or you will lose energy and time. Time is indicated by the incoming tide, which you need to beat in order to put on the show.

It's a silly little game but it's original and easy to play. I've played a lot worse that this over the last few months. Give it a go.

Trivia

The town has bits and pieces of the town 'Bridlington'. The Punch and Judy characters (and SCREENS) were inspired by a book on the history of P&J from the local library.
